Welcome
A bit about me: I grew up in Oregon, and spent my childhood days exploring woods and fields near my home in the Willamette Valley. The natural world and the human connection with it is often the starting point for my work. I have discovered that being immersed in a place and quietly observing often yields seeds of inspiration. Each of us goes through a personal journey that requires us to adapt, grow, change or perhaps let go of what we know. At times we have no choice but to plunge into the unknown. That experience is at the heart of what it means to me to be an artist. I paint to make sense of the human experience. My hope is that my imagery speaks to the viewer and evokes a response that causes them to pause a moment. |
